Friday Favorites!

Happy Fri-YAY! It's an extra special Friday because it's the Friday of a HOLIDAY WEEKEND!!!
Let's jump right into this weeks favorites!
Check out this fun batch of favorites!
1 This Sleep Mask- "Um No" is basically my first thoughts every morning. I need this. // 2 This "Frame"- I'm always looking for new (and cute) storage solutions for my craft cave. I love that this one serves both form and function (and doesn't break the bank!) // 3 This Robe- Having a conversation with my bestie Danica the other day I realized that I am a robe person. I love being in a robe. Which led me to looking for the perfect one and I think I found it! The pattern is amazing. I like that it's long and yet the sleeves are only elbow length so they don.t get in the way. It's a must have for sure. // 4 This Wedding Bar Sign- I have to admit, I'm kind of kicking myself for not thinking of this for my desert wedding. Maybe for a desert inspired party one day though. // 5 This Tea Light- A cute little way to add a touch of gold to your home. // 6 These Chairs- I definitely don't need these for anything but I want them so bad! // 7 This Floor Mirror- I currently have one of those cheap over the door mirrors just leaning up against the wall in my bedroom because I haven't found a floor mirror that I really like... until now! Usually I find them to be really gaudy and over the top. This one from Ikea though is sleek an modern and I love the hanging feature on the back! I may have to run out and snag one this weekend!

And that rounds out this weeks favorites! Have you found anything around the web this week worth sharing? I'd love to see it!
I hope you all have a fun and safe Labor Day!

Friday Favorites!

Happy Friday friends! We survived another week! And a solar eclipse! And as always, another week means another batch of favorites, here are this weeks!
Check out this weeks Friday Favorites!
1. Pendant Light- As I've mentioned, ever since getting our new couch I have been on a revamping rampage through our house. Next up is our dining room light fixture. Right now we have something similar to this (except mine was like $67 not $468). Gross right? I'm loving the minimal and modern look of this fixture... and that price tag ain't bad either! // 2. This bar sign- This totally reminds me of the labor of love that was the chalkboard bar signs I created for my wedding but with a fun modern twist! I love the idea of putting it on glass or acrylic! I'm thinking about using this idea for signage for my upcoming craft fair. // 3. Cake Stand- I'm a sucker for cake stands, just ask my husband. I have a collection and we store them in a series of cabinets that I can't reach so every time I need to take one down or put one away he has to be involved. Not sure how he'd feel about adding one more to the collection haha.  // 4. These Towels- I know these are super trendy and I have a tendency to gravitate to things more trendy than timeless but... I want them! // 5. These PJs- I don't think I've ever spent $42 on PJs but how cute are these?! I may just put them on my Christmas list.

And that rounds out this weeks favorites! Have you spotted anything around the web this week you'd like to share? I'd love to see!

Friday Favorites

Happy Fri-YAY! I've got another glorious plan-free weekend ahead of me and I cannot WAIT!
I'll probably spend some (read: a lot) of it sleeping in and the rest working on my merchandise for the craft fair I'll be selling at in a few weeks! If you're local, come see me!
Check out this fun roundup of (mostly DIY'd) items!
But enough about this weekend, lets jump into this weeks favorites, shall we?
One: DIY Colorblocked Geometric Vase- I created something like this recently but using only gold on a white vase, I love the idea of adding another color, I may have to try this this weekend. // Two: Mid Century TV Stand- Ever since our new couch arrived I've been wanting to change EVERYTHING and our TV stand is next. I'm currently crushing on this one. // Three: DIY Pom Pom Beach Towel- I love how adding a few pom pom strands can take a regular towel from drab to fab! I may have to make one of these before summer is over! // Four: Peach Bath Bomb- How adorable are these?! Lately I'm obsessing over everything Melissa over at Design Eat Repeat creates. These DIY Peach Bath Bombs are no exception. // Five- DIY Mid Century Plant Stand- I've jumped on the houseplant train and I don't plan on jumping off any time soon. These plant stands are the perfect extra touch for some of my new leafy friends. (Reminds me of Phoebe "Both fine answers, but we were looking for leafy, leafy.")

And lastly... I would be remiss to not mention that THIS SUNDAY (starting at midnight!) is the official launch day of the NEW Cricut Maker!!
Check out the new Cricut Maker in all it's glory!
Isn't she beautiful?! You guys, I got a chance to see this baby in action and... WOW. It's no secret that I love Cricut. Even before I started working for/with them, I loved them. I pretty much don't do a craft project that doesn't involve my machine in some capacity. The only time I didn't was for my sewing projects but now... it can even help me with THOSE! I'm so stinkin' excited to get my hands on one of these bad boys!

Hope you all have a great weekend and if you get yourself a Cricut Maker, let me know!

Friday Favorites!

Hi friends! Sorry I've been a little MIA... After spending the first half of last week at the Cricut Mountain Make-a-thon, I spent the rest of the week playing catch up which was immediately followed by my dog spending three days at the emergency vet. I think I am finally recovering from it all and thankfully, I have a weekend ahead of me that is free of plans! It's sad how excited I get over NOT having plans. Haha. I have found some awesome things around the web this week though that I wanted to share with you so here's another installment of my Friday Favorites!
Check out these Friday Favorites from Not So Cli-Shea!

1 DIY Copper Pipe Wardrobe Stand: Technically this is a "bridal DIY" but... how great would it be just for your daily life?! I love the industrial/modern look of the copper piping. I may have to try this DIY out for myself. // 2 Sputnik Chandelier- I've been trying to modernize my space lately. I started by getting a new couch and now everything else is looking extra drab, like our dining room chandelier that is probably about 7 years old and is looking its age. I have this little beauty sitting in my Amazon cart waiting to come home with me. // 3 Coffee Table- I had to get a new modern looking coffee table to match my new modern sofa. Truth be told, this coffee table matches its price. It's not the most sturdy, but I love the mid-century modern look of it. It definitely brightens up the space. // 4 Moroccan Pouf- I've always loved these and they go with the new "vibe" that I'm going for. They're another one sitting in my Amazon cart. // 5 Succulent Gift Card Holders- are these not the CUTEST?! I'm planning to whip a bunch of these up this weekend just to have on hand in a pinch. Such an adorable way to jazz up a simple gift card!

And that's it! That rounds out these weeks favorites! Have you come across anything this week worth sharing? As always, I'd love to see it!

Friday Favorites

Yay! It's Friday! I've got some fun stuff planned for this weekend so I've been counting down the days until this weekend all week. For this weeks favorites, I decided to curate exclusively from Etsy. There are so many wonderfully unique artisans on there (myself included), I could spend hours just perusing. So let's get into it shall we?
Check out this weeks favorite things on the blog!

1 Dachshund Return Address Stamp: It's no surprise I'm a doxie lover. This return address stamp is definitely a must.  // 2 Pet Portrait: I have two wonderful canvas prints of my beloved Beamer and Lexie but don't have anything for my current dogs, Scully and Mulder. Getting one of these prints of them, I think would be perfect. // 3 Cactus Print: Are you surprised I included something cactus related in a favorites post? Probably not. This print is just adorable and I love the added element of the polka dots! // 4 Dog Tags: I honestly have never seen more beautiful dog tags. The options are usually so limited. Not only does this shop have these gorgeous marble tags, there are so many other amazing ones to choose from, I highly suggest you check them out! // 5 Doxie Mug: This mug looks so dang much like my Lexie Poo that I literally almost cried when I came across it. It's going on my wishlist for sure.

And there you have it! This weeks favorites!I hope you enjoyed them!
Have a happy and safe weekend!

Friday Favorites

We made it through another week! If you ask me, that's reason to celebrate! I went to a concert last night so I'm already feeling a little sluggish, and ready to be home with a cocktail in my hand. Come on 5:00! If, like me, you're struggling a bit today, here is a new batch of favorites to brighten your day!

I have a small obsession with bar carts. I'm really not sure why. I think there is something very "adult" about them. An issue I always have though is that I always find something each one is missing, this one though, since it's a DIY, anything that is missing, you can add or modify! I love the copper details and the modern yet industrial feel.

Not gunna lie, my normal sleeping attire is sweatpants and an old t-shirt but it has been SO HOT lately I've been on the hunt for something to sleep in that wont have me waking up miserably hot. This adorable PJ set from Target is lightweight and adorable!

How adorable is this DIY box created by none other than Nik, one of my featured makers! I'm always looking for a place to store my odds and ends and this box is perfect!

I'm not in the market for a new nightstand, I actually still love the vintage ones I found on Craigslist several years ago, but how adorable is this nightstand?? I'm trying to think of another use for it because I LOVE it!

It wouldn't be a Not So Cli-Shea Friday Favorites without something desert related. I recently came across Carley Rudd and fell in love. This print would be the perfect addition to my craft cave!

And that rounds out this weeks favorites! I hope you enjoyed them!
Have a great weekend!

Friday Favorites

Happy Friday!! I hope you all had a happy and safe 4th!

With the 4th of July holiday, it was a shortened week which is always nice but it also feels like I've been playing catch up all week. Not to mention, I had house guests for several days, so playing catch up on all my house work as well... I need another holiday! Haha.
Let's jump right into this week's favorites!

I actually recently bought and revamped one of these same cutting boards (with some  gold paint of course) but I never thought to make my own little cactus cutting board! So cute! Especially for a summer party in the desert!

If you don't already watch "Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt", I definitely recommend that you do, just for my favorite character, Titus Andromedon. He seriously steals the show and has me dying laughing any time he's on screen. Anyways, he has a song on the show called Pinot Noir and even though I don't generally drink red wine, I will make an exception for this.

I'm somewhat embarrassed to admit, I'm in my 30's and have never purchased what I would consider a "grown up couch". Well, that all changed last weekend. My mom and I went to Living Spaces (I had never been and really didn't know what to expect) and went on a hunt for the perfect couch. It had to be something somewhat modern and my husbands one request was that it be "comf" (aka comfortable). I was somewhat overwhelmed by all the different fabric options but finally decided on a modern grey and can not WAIT to see it! I really like that there are only two cushions because the couches we have now, I always find myself falling in the cracks. As with any major purchase, I spent the whole car ride home questioning my decision (couches aren't cheap after all!) but I'm sure I will love it. I should be getting it in a week or so, so I'll keep you posted!

Yes... it's another DIY using those mini Ikea cutting boards! But in a completely different way! I absolutely LOVE this idea of providing your guests a serving tray/drink holding duo. I may have to cut the board I already have to create one of these bad boys!

And lastly, it's no secret that I have a love for all things Palm Springs, we got married there after all. I'm constantly on the hunt for some Palm Springs/desert inspired art for our home, specifically our bedroom. I love the modern simplicity of this print. So much so, I think I'm going to pull the trigger and buy it today.

And that rounds out this weeks favorites. Have you found anything around the web worth sharing?
I'd love to see it!

Friday Favorites

Here we are! Another Friday... and of an extra long holiday weekend at that! To be fair, I'm not entirely sure if I get Monday off, but I'm taking it. Haha. Let's jump into this weeks favorites!
I bought some cute luggage years ago before the 360 degree swivel was popular and every time I see someone with them, I bubble over with envy. Not only dose this luggage have the coveted spnning wheels, do you see those colors?! Mint and pink!? GIMME!

I know we are a ways out from Christmas still (although I saw them stocking Christmas stuff at Hobby Lobby the other day) but I came across these adorable cacti ornaments and I'm pretty sure I need them.

I've been eyeballing these round beach towels for months and trying to decide which one to buy... then I found this DIY and love it. You can create it with any towels you like!

So... a couple of weeks ago I bought myself a ukulele on a whim and I have been LOVING it. It's fairly easy to pick up so lately I've been obsessing over all things uke related. I may have to attempt this on mine.

Mimosa popsicles... need I say more?

And that rounds out this weeks favorites!
Hope everyone had a fun and safe 4th of July weekend!

Friday Favorites

Another long and stressful week is coming to a close and you know what that means... a fresh batch of favorites!
This DIY Mid Century Side Table
Iiiiii meeeeean... do you not LOVE it?! That color! Those legs! And would you believe that the base is made out of a cake pan?? I'm definitely making one.

I'll use any excuse to throw a party, a summer wine tasting is definitely going on my to-do list this summer!

Who knew just a little paper could make you feel like you're on vacation?!

I'm a sucker for all things cactus. These oven mitts are the perfect mix of form and function!

Yes... it's more cactus. Are you surprised?

And that rounds out this weeks favorites! Have you found anything around the web worth sharing? I'd love to see it!

Friday Favorites

Hi friends! It's Friday once again! And that means it's time for me to share with you some of the gems I have found around the web this week!
If you haven't jumped on the letterboard train, I suggest you do. (It's a train that even Joanna Gaines is on after all.) This fun DIY creates custom cards that look like little mini letterboards, too cute!

I mean... first of all, the name... I love it. If you couldn't tell from my wedding or my craft room inspiration, I'm a sucker for a peachy/blush hue. I'm not sure what I'm going to paint with this color... but it's going to be something.

SO cute, right? I actually already have everything I need to make these magnets, so it might be happening this weekend.

I LOVE the idea of making your guests feel like they are on vacation when they visit you. We don't have a TON of house guests, but I may have to do this for our guest room.

SO cute! Did you even know Oriental Trading had this much adorable stuff??
And that rounds out this weeks favorites. Have you spotted anything from around the web you'd like to share? I'd love to see it!
Have a great weekend and a wonderful Father's Day!

Friday Favorites

Something about the week after a short week that makes it feel like an eternity. I was ready for this week to be over by Tuesday. I guess working non stop and filling my little bits of free time to the brim is starting to take it's toll. Luckily, a lot of the "work" I'm doing, I enjoy so I can't complain too much. Anyways, that being said, it is officially Friday! Let's dive into this weeks favorites!
So, I recently heard about Craff House from one of my favorite blogs, A Kailo Chic Life. Craff House is a new subscription crafting box that has really elevated the game. They start by partnering with unique artists, from there they have each artist create a professionally produced video tutorial for their project. Then they send you all the materials and supplies needed plus exclusive, behind-the-scenes tips and extras! The are currently running a kickstarter that I definitely recommend you check out!

I have had the same Ikea dining room chairs since I lived with Danica, back in 2009. I was finally ready for an upgrade and have been really into the mid-century look lately. As I was perusing the  World Market website, I saw they were having a HUGE furniture blowout and these chairs were on sale for $111.95 for a pair! How could I NOT buy them?

No I don't have any kids, and no, it's nowhere NEAR Halloween but I saw this costume and had to share!

I have some simple barstools in our kitchen at home and have been wanting to change them out for something fun. This DIY gave me just the motivation I needed!

These Cake Toppers
Blue // Pink
I'm going to do a little shameless self promotion here. I created a couple new cake toppers the other night and I love them so much I had to share. Ever since probably around my birthday I've been really into hexagons (as you've probably noticed). So I had the idea for some hexagon first birthday cake toppers. BUT that's not all... I thought, why not incorporate some foil! And voila! These little babies were born. They look so much better in person, the foil is to die for!
And that rounds out this weeks favorites! Hope you all have a great weekend!
