Pack, Pack, Pack it up!

Things have bene going really well and I've been getting such great feedback from everyone! It's so nice to hear everyones comments. Not to mention everyone has been telling their friends which is such a blessing! Now that I have pretty much finalized my logo I have been working on my packaging. I wanted to have something simple that really showcases the product. I decided to stick with a clear bat and some simple twine. For convenience I used little price dots to mark the size of the garment enclosed.

Here are a couple of examples:

Peace on Stripes Packaged

Winking Owl Packaged

Duckie Packaged

Diamond Ring Packaged

And of course, true to form I made a couple of new pieces :)

Monogram Prince(ss)

Camera

California Baby

And I even made a headband! :)

Button Headband

It goes great with this piece:

New Logo!

It's time to reveal my new logo.
I still might make a few changes but here is what my friend Frank from "Triple Force Grafix" came up with from the sketch that I gave him. It's pretty dead on what I wanted. What do you think??

If you saw the sketch I gave him you would be shocked at how pretty much identical it looks. I'm so pleasantly surprised with the way that it came out.

Well... thanks for checkin in... be sure to check back soon! :)

TGIF

I love Fridays.

Ever Friday I go with my aunt and my two cousins (Cade, 2 1/2yrs. & Brynn, 1yrs) to toddler story time at the library. I love spending time with them (and... it's a good way to check out baby clothes trends! haha.) After that I have all day to myself. I don't work on Fridays so of course afterward I went to "the office", or as Danica calls it, my "craft cave". I got back to the baby clothes grind and this is what I came up with:

Peace On Stars

5K on Stripes

Rock Princess (Finished)

Rock Princess (back)

Hearts On Hearts (Finished)

Hearts and Camels (Finished)

Black Pump (back)

Legacy (back)

Paisley Dachshund (finished)

And I decided to throw in some Fun for Friday :)

Gosh... this stuff never gets old... stay tuned for more! :)

Run For Fun!

So, my best friend and roommate "ChicRunner" does something that I could never imagine doing in a million years and that is run for fun. I mean, don't get me wrong, I WISH that I could but, with my horrible side cramps and weird back problems, I prefer to just watch from the sidelines. I have been with her through much of her running endeavors and I have come to realize that "Running for Fun" is actually something that tons of people do, not just my crazy roommate ;)

When I decided to get into doing baby clothes we discussed how there is a lack of anything running related for the babies/kids of runners and thus, I give you, my running inspired onesies:

Flower Marathon

Grey Marathon

Grey Marathon (Back)

Purple Striped Half

Polka Dot Half

And then I made this one just for fun...

Peace on Stripes

Peace on Stripes (back) (the peace sign ended up a liiiiittle more exaggeratedly sideways than I anticipated. haha. )

I'm still having SO much fun doing all of this and can't wait to set up my etsy account and get things movin! :)
Also, a special thanks to my cousin Cheri for donating to the cause :)

This whole thing has really taken over my life and I've been LOVING every minute of it. I've come a long way in the few short days that I've really been actively working on it. I can't wait to see what tomorrow brings. Unfortunatly tomorrow is a busy busy day for me so I'm not sure I'm going to get much done but keep checking back. Hopefully I'll have my etsy store up and running by the end of the week. Once I have it up it's going to be www.notsoclishea.etsy.com.

Thanks for visiting! :D
