Stefana's Brew Crew! // A 90's Themed Bachelorette Party!

Another party has been had which means another blog post to share all the fun details is in order! I was recently a bridesmaid in my friend Stefana's wedding and after her Bridal Shower was complete (you can read about that here and here) it was time to focus on the Bachelorette Party!

Stefana is a huge 90's fan. We're talking all things Backstreet Boys, Home Improvement, Fresh Prince and everything in between. (I'm serious... don't ever challenge her to a game of 90's heads up unless you plan on loosing.)

That being said, a totally 90's Bachelorette Bash was a must. As always, it began with a color scheme. I decided to go with a fun vibrant and neon inspired palette.
From there I started to design the invitations. Now, I don't have any sort of a graphic design background but I have grown to love invitation design. Believe it or not, Microsoft PowerPoint is actually a crazy good resource for those of us who aren't real design savvy or who don't have editing software like Photoshop or Illustrator.

Using the color scheme and everything 90's I could think of, I created these totally radical invitations.

While planning the shower, I came across possibly the funniest photo of baby Stefana I have ever seen. It's a photo of her, holding a cheesecake and looking MISERABLE. I had to incorporate it in the invitations and since I love a good invitation tag, here is how I used it.
From there, I did something that I've never done before... I created a Snapchat Geofilter!
(Based on the invitation design of course.)
Cute, right? You can make your own here. It was surprisingly easy!
And here it is in action! Cool, right?

Another fun element of the party was the favor, custom fanny packs! As always, I used my friend Frankie from Go 2 Print Ink for these beauties. The top was lime green and the bottom was hot pink and he was able to use all the same fonts as the invitations (if you know me, you know how important continuity is to me). We landed on a classic phrase from a 90's favorite, Clueless (that we also ended the night watching) "Rollin with the Homies", and the hashtag for the event.
The fanny packs were packed full of 90's goodies, like slap bracelets, ring pops, candy cigarettes and these little babies that I whipped up with my Cricut
Decked out in our 90's attire we hopped on the Craft Brew Tours bus and were off on our brewery tour adventure! Side note: I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking to do a brewery crawl. The bus was nice and new and clean, the driver (Brandon, who I think might also be an owner) was very knowledgeable. When we ended up at a brewery that was PACKED, he suggested another place close by that was just as good but less crowded. We started the tour with a pour of Hell or High Watermelon from the 21st Amendment Brewery.
At the first brewery, Four Sons Brewing

Another thing we had in our fanny packs were these engagement ring shot glasses
That we, of course, filled with beer.

At the second stop, Phantom Ales
(The last stop was Valiant Brewing Company but, believe it or not, I don't have any pictures from the last stop, haha.)
We stayed in this adorable airbnb.
A photo backdrop and some custom props were a must (as always).

All in all, I think the bride had a blast, which is the most important thing.
Another successful party had!
